Theocratia is set on an imaginary island where four civilizations thrive, develop, explore the land, build new structures, and ultimately forge their own fate. Players take on the roles of highly advanced aliens who manipulate the lives of these civilizations in a wager to determine which alien deity will earn the most worship. 

Theocratia is a Civ‑style game where each player can influence the actions of the four peoples inhabiting the island, guiding them to expand, build, and fight within territories of their own color. These actions drive each civilization’s development, leading them to worship the gods who favor them.

At its core, Theocratia is a dice‑drafting game in which each die number corresponds to an action the player may perform with any of the Civs. These actions—build, upgrade, produce, fight, and declare a holiday—are classic Civ‑game staples and will typically earn you Worship points with the civilization you activated or help that Civ develop, increasing its overall “Civ value.” At the end of the game, you multiply the level of worship certain Civs reached on your personal track by their development level (Civ value). The highest total wins the game!
