Sunday Manager is a strategy board game for 2 to 4 players about building an amateur football club in four weeks of preseason. Players draft local characters with their own backstories, bid against each other in transfer auctions, hire staff, take money from a local sponsor and try to assemble the best squad on a tight budget. The setting is Sunday league football: regular lads, leaking roofs and pub renovations rather than millionaires.

Every round is built on interaction and tactical choices: which player to bid for, how to manage the budget, who to watch or sabotage. There are no dice, and the final score stays hidden until the board flips at the end. More than 26,000 unique starting combinations and more than 10 ways to score give the game strong replay value. 45 to 60 minutes per game.

No football knowledge is needed. The game runs on icons, numbers and colors, so it works as a gateway game for general game stores as well as a gift for football fans. Funded on Kickstarter by more than 1,500 backers.
