Inspired by the classic PC Game Zoo Tycoon, Zoo King combines the nostalgia of a trip to the zoo with the adventure of building your own. Players build their own zoos from the ground up and compete to win the most awards for their zoo, such as Most Prestigious, Most Diverse, Big Cat King, etc.

During play, players acquire animal, staff, or facility cards from a central market, each card providing unique benefits to move the player closer to the various award criteria. Event cards are also revealed during the course of play, which players must prepare for in order to keep their zoo growing.

The player that can manage their money, their animal sets, and the ups and downs of zoo ownership will increases their odds of winning the most awards and the title of Zoo King or Queen!
