Manifold TCG is a trading card and dice game with a new epic space fantasy IP.
- TURNS ARE FAST PACED. Players alternate taking one action at a time, either playing cards, activating characters to roll dice, or resolving those dice.
- ELEGANT MARRIAGE OF CARDS AND DICE. Combining a small number of complex cards and a large number of simple dice creates a deep gameplay with simple options, and tremendous room to master probability and manipulate outcomes. The beginning of every round is like poker, and the end of every round is like chess.
- ASYMMETRICAL STARTING CONDITIONS. Your heroes determine details like your total health, amount of resources, and style of starting effects. This gives you a great opportunity for self-expression through hero selection.
- NO ‘NON-GAMES’. Resources are created from outside the deck, and heroes start in play, resulting in players making progress toward their goals every round. Players are never locked out, and are always having fun.
Gameplay is typically head-to-head, although 3 and 4 player variants exist. Players start with a team of heroes, and the goal of the game is to defeat your opponent’s heroes before they defeat yours.
Tyryn Sentinels is the first set of expansion packs released for Manifold TCG. It tells the story of the war on the planet of Tyryn between the Human Federation and the Internation of Planets. The expansion packs fill out the roster of 48 uniquely named heroes that appear in the set. Each pack includes:
- 1-2 heroes
- 2 rare cards
- 6 uncommon cards
- 15 common cards
Expansion packs are not randomized. There are 48 possible mono-colored pack lists. These lists are optimized to be balanced for expansion deck play, where two expansion packs are opened and shuffled together. Rare cards found in expansion packs are distinct from any cards found in the Launch Box.
